Carl graduated from Newcastle University with a 1st Class honours degree in Mechanical Engineering.
He then worked in a variety of business development roles in hi-tech sectors including positions in Rolls-Royce, Malvern Instruments and three years with Mikron Technology Group in Switzerland.
Following an MBA at INSEAD where he specialized in Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital Financing he joined a medical imaging start-up as Chief Operating Officer. In this role he was responsible for managing the corporate development and financing of the fast-growing organization including the raising of both debt and equity development capital.
Carl joined Cavendish in 2007.
