In London Fashion Week yet another British success; Fashion Monitor, the fashion information service used by all the leading media in the UK has been sold by Cavendish Corporate Finance, as part of the sale of Profile Group.

Profile has successfully migrated to digital delivery of its products over the past three years which was a major factor in the successful sale of the business. Profile Group’s revenues of £3.1m in 2011 were derived exclusively from subscriptions, generating an EBITDA of circa £1m. Profile Group’s blue-chip client base includes the majority of the leading media organisations in the UK and internationally which resulted in wide-ranging interest in the sale of the business

Linda Sullivan, Cavendish’s, Director of Media and Digital Technology commented: "This sector is very hot right now. There is no gloom and doom. We are achieving very good prices for digital media assets. Everyone needs them. I would just like to have more businesses in this sector to sell. The buyers are out there."
