New Group Board Member for Cavendish
29 April 2005Cavendish Corporate Finance, the UK's leading independent specialist advisor to vendors of businesses, announces the Group Board appointment of [Philip Barker].
[Philip Barker] joined Cavendish in September 1999 following previous roles with Livingstone Guarantee and Hambros Bank. Philip has been instrumental in developing Cavendish expertise in the Industrial sector. During his time at Cavendish, he has advised some major multinationals, including Sime Darby Berhad (on the sale of LEC), Daimler Chrysler (on the sale of Adtranz Wheelsets division), Halma plc (on the sale of Kerry Ultrasonics Ltd, S&P Coil Products Ltd and Thames Side-Maywood Ltd), General Electric (on the sale of GDA Applied Energy Ltd) and Smiths Group plc (on the sale of its European Hose division).
In addition, Cavendish has recently made two further appointments: Paul Landsman, who joins from the Corporate Transaction Services team at Deloitte & Touche, having also qualified as an ACA with that firm; and Nadia Sayeed, who was previously a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions team at UBS Warburg. The recruitment of Paul and Nadia brings the Cavendish headcount to 30.
