Cavendish advises on £161 million of transactions in January
31 January 2005Cavendish Corporate Finance, the UK's leading independent specialist advisor to vendors of businesses, has had a sparkling start to 2005 with three recently completed transactions with a total value of some £161 million.
Cavendish advised Phase Eight on the sale of the business to Barclays Private Equity for £28 million. In addition Cavendish also advised Freightliner on the restructuring, including the exit by retiring management and employee shareholders and the recapitalisation by 3i and Electra. Finally, the firm advised J.J. Barker, one of the UK's largest producers and packers of quality salad and vegetables, on its sale to M.B.N. Bomford Limited.
