Linda has over twenty five years experience advising a wide range of international clients, including UK and US media and technology owners, in relation to licensing, mergers and acquisitions, disposals, strategy and finance.

After graduating with an LLB Honours law degree from Exeter University, Linda qualified and practiced as a solicitor at leading City of London law firm, Macfarlanes until 1985.

Subsequently she became Strategic Adviser to the founders of GEAC Computer Corporation and was appointed the first female Director of this Toronto Stock Exchange quoted multinational company. Using her experience of international business development and finance she has advised many international clients expanding into the UK, including Crane Paper, makers of fine social stationery and the paper for the US dollar bill, and a number of media and technology companies.

From 2003-2006 Linda was a Director of Mediafund Limited, a UK company specializing in mergers and acquisitions in the media sector where she also dealt with a number of financing assignments including the MBI of the Mining Journal Group and its subsequent sale.

Since 2006 Linda has been involved in a number of transactions in the UK and Australasia, both as principal and adviser.

Linda combines expertise in the acquisition and management of Intellectual Property Rights with a specialist knowledge of the media and technology sectors and private equity funding and investment in the UK and internationally.
