James Midgley is an Equity Research Analyst, specialising in the Energy Sector. James has over 15 years’ experience in research, focussing predominantly on small to mid-cap exploration and production companies. Prior to joining Cavendish, James was a founding partner at Tennyson Securities, a boutique broker specialising in natural resources. Prior to Tennyson, James was a member of the Primary team at Mirabaud Securities, covering an array of stocks and working on dozens of IPOs, secondary placings and M&A transactions. James started his career at Deloitte in the Petroleum Services division, having graduated from Oxford University with an MA in Earth Sciences.
