Job Overview

This role will involve working within the Business Intelligence team to support the development of the organization’s data and analytics platform and also to work closely with the Head of Equity Strategy in developing the strategy product. As well as a range of stakeholders from across the business, on a wide variety of use cases sponsored by our Executive Committee.

Main tasks

The successful candidate will need to:

  • Deliver data-driven insights including charts to support the Equity Strategy product.
  • Translate complex stakeholder requirements into technical solutions.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of how our various business units work.
  • Design and implement robust and efficient data analysis pipelines.
  • Manage and oversee key enterprise data systems and tools.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from the Business Intelligence and IT teams.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, proposing innovative solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of Generative AI based software.
  • Ensure data security and compliance.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Degree requiring a high-level of data literacy and numeracy, or relevant experience.
  • A demonstrable enthusiasm for financial markets
  • Experience with any or all of Python, SQL, Power BI
  • Experience with Bloomberg, preferred.
  • Strong experience in Excel especially chart creation
  • Basic understanding of ML/AI including Generative AI
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Highly organised self-starter with a collaborative proactive problem-solving mindset
