Main tasks

  • Assist in pulling together all sections of a full pitch
  • Attend and take small speaking role in pitches
  • Manage the IM design process
  • Obtain and compare data room quotes
  • Assist in pulling together the data room and reviewing documents
  • Assist in pulling together the PP list and provide strategic rationale
  • Provide day to day transaction support to senior team members
  • Draft IM skeleton and sections of the IM
  • First draft of a teaser
  • Assist in carrying out basic financial analysis across working capital and data analysis and presentation within the IM
  • Develop understanding of due diligence process
  • Development of a network of contacts at a similar level in accountancy, legal, and other professional firms

Required qualifications, skills, experience and competencies:

  • ACA or equivalent qualification
  • Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with an ability to grasp and understand business issues quickly
  • Appetite for varied project work and a desire to contribute to a highly successful M&A team
  • Ability to work accurately under time pressure and manage multiple commitments
  • Able to deliver and to work effectively across teams
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence when interacting with colleagues and clients in business and social situations
  • Strong technical ability
  • Excellent report writing skills and modelling skills
