Job Overview

Main Tasks

The successful candidate will need to:

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of how our various business units work.
  • Evaluate and prioritise a growing portfolio of tasks based on technical feasibility, implementation complexity, and business impact.
  • Design and implement robust and efficient data management processes.
  • Design, implement and finetune machine learning algorithms and models.
  • Collaborate with business intelligence and IT colleagues on engineering solutions.
  • Develop and regularly present to management on the “AI roadmap”
  • Stay updated with industry trends, proposing innovative solutions.
  • Ensure data security and compliance.

Qualifications, Skills & competencies required:

  • Degree in sciences, maths or engineering.
  • Experience with at least one of Python, R, SQL, Power BI or related modelling libraries and frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of various machine learning techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • An interest in financial markets.
  • Highly organised.
  • Collaborative.
