Cavendish is pleased to announce that it has acted as exclusive financial advisor to Skynamo, a market-leading all-in-one field sales SaaS platform and portfolio company of Five Elms Capital, on its acquisition by Klipboard, a global provider of vertically focused business management software.
Founded in 2012, Skynamo provides a mobile-first, cloud-based platform that enables field sales teams to plan and track customer visits, manage orders and access real-time product and financial information while in the field.
Securing Series A investment in 2020 from Five Elms Capital, one of the most active US-based growth equity investors in B2B SaaS, Skynamo is used by nearly 1,000 manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors globally across Africa, the UK and the United States, facilitating more than $70 million in monthly order value and supporting millions of customer interactions annually.
Cavendish was appointed to run a competitive M&A process, utilising sector knowledge to identify and engage with a focused group of key global strategic buyers, with Klipboard emerging as the preferred acquirer and a natural partner for Skynamo.
The acquisition adds Skynamo’s award-winning field sales platform to Klipboard’s portfolio and enhances its ability to support wholesalers, distributors and retailers in managing complex operations in many industries. Skynamo’s technology complements Klipboard’s existing ERP and business management solutions, creating a broader platform for customers seeking to streamline sales, service, and operational processes.
