Cavendish is hosting a series of invite-only breakfasts for the non-executive community throughout the year. These breakfasts are designed to brief NEDs on our insights and experience, based on ongoing deal flow and conversations within our network, to help empower board room debate and are hosted by Lisa Gordon (of Cavendish Financial plc).

Arrival for the workshop is from 8.30am (for a 9am start) and will run until 10.30am, with optional networking until 11am.
Events will be held at Cavendish’s offices

(focus: Investment Trusts)
Time: 15:15 for 15:30 start, concludes at 16:45 with networking until 17:00. 17:00 onward please join us for an informal drink.
The rising influence of Activist Investors has had a profound impact on the Investment Trust sector. Our Saba tracker shows a growing presence in an ever-broader array of trusts and, in combination with last month’s stealth attack on the board of Baillie Gifford US Growth Trust, this is a timely event.
The Panel were all at the sharp end of the high-profile events that hit the sector last Christmas and will share some of their experiences and potential precautionary steps that boards might consider.
