Darren Boocock

Darren leads Cavendish’s M&A business in the Midlands and East of England. He has over 25 years M&A experience across a wide variety of transactions, including disposals, acquisitions, mergers and fundraisings. His clients have included private companies and their shareholders, private equity houses and public companies.

Prior to joining Cavendish, Darren led Deloitte’s Corporate Finance business in the Midlands. He also led Deloitte’s multi-disciplinary national business focusing on family-owned and owner-managed business. Prior to Deloitte he worked for an Investment Bank.

Darren has worked across a variety of sectors, often on complex deals with a cross-border dimension. He has particular experience in telecoms and IT services, business services and veterinary services, having completed a large number of successful transactions in these sectors.

Darren is a winner of both the Insider Southeast Dealmaker of the Year and the Insider Midlands Dealmaker of the Year.

Darren has a First Class Honours degree in Economics and holds the ACA qualification.
