Rahim Karim

Rahim joins Cavendish to co-head the financials research team, having been ranked the #2 UK financials analyst in the 2025 Extel survey. Previously he was a senior research analyst at Investec, where he covered traditional asset & wealth managers, fintech and financial market infrastructure. Prior to this Rahim was a research analyst at Liberum, Barclays Capital and Lehman Brothers, with coverage across numerous sectors including oil & gas, support services and financials. In addition to this, Rahim has spent a number of years in East Africa, exploring various entrepreneurial opportunities. He holds a first-class degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge and is a CFA charterholder.
