Senior Associate, M&A (Consumer)

Main Tasks
The successful candidate will need to:
- Managing aspects of multiple sell-side projects throughout the transaction lifecycle, including:
- Researching prospective buyers
- Taking a lead role in preparing information memoranda, teasers, and management presentations
- Managing data rooms, including coordinating financial, legal and commercial due diligence workstreams
- Preparing pitch documents for potential new mandates
- Preparing detailed financial models, including integrating operating models and LBO models
- Developing a network of contacts across accounting, legal, and other professional services firms
- Contribute to Consumer sector knowledge, market insights and other internal initiatives
Qualifications, Skills & competencies required:
- ACA or equivalent qualification
- Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with an ability to grasp and understand business issues quickly
- Appetite for varied project work and a desire to contribute to a highly successful M&A team
- Ability to work accurately under time pressure and manage multiple commitments
- Able to deliver and to work effectively across teams
- Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence when interacting with colleagues and clients in business and social situations
- Strong technical ability
- Excellent report writing skills and modelling skills
