Cavendish Corporate Finance, the UK’s leading mid-market M&A firm and part of the finnCap Group, has advised Systal on the sale of a minority stake to private equity firm Inflexion, a move that will help the managed network services provider continue to accelerate its international growth.
Systal was founded in 2008 and is based in Glasgow, with a presence in the US and Asia. Owner-managed since inception, Systal offers a high-quality, mission-critical managed network service from its 24/7 network operations centre, to service blue-chip multinational clients’ IT networks globally. It currently operates across the North America, EMEA and APAC regions, supporting over 1,300 locations.
The deal was led by John Farrugia, Managing Partner and Head of Technology and Chris Malcolm, Director, Technology, with support from James Baker and Paris McNicol-Outch. This transaction builds on the success of Cavendish’s TMT team which has gone from strength to strength in recent years.
