Beckett Investment Management Group

Cavendish are pleased to share that Westbridge has agreed a majority investment in Beckett Investment Management Group, the leading financial planning business in the East of England. The deal marks Westbridge’s fifth investment from Westbridge III and represents a majority exit for Foresight Group, which will partially reinvest to continue supporting Beckett through its next phase of growth. The transaction remains subject to regulatory approval by the FCA.

Westbridge is a lower mid-market private equity provider with offices in London, Manchester and Cardiff, specialising in primary buyouts and buy-and-build investments. The firm partners with management teams to implement its proven Value Creation Model, typically investing £15m-£70m in fast-growing UK SMEs with EBITDA of £2m-£8m. Its third fund, Westbridge III, follows two predecessor funds that have consistently benchmarked as top-quartile performers for their vintage.

Beckett’s is a financial advice firm established in 1988, offering investment planning, retirement strategies, wealth management and employee benefits solutions from offices in Bury St Edmunds, Norwich, Ipswich and Lowestoft. Under Foresight’s ownership since 2021, Beckett has grown from £0.8bn to £2.1bn AUM, achieved B Corp certification, and now supports over 5,000 clients, all while retaining the culture and customer service that has driven the business.
